A friendly and popular resort with an excellent snow record, sitting on a sunny plateau overlooking the Rhone valley
Constructed in a traditional style, Anzère is a popular resort for all levels of ability.
Beginners appreciate the south-facing aspect and many gentle slopes allowing them to progress quickly, while intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders enjoy discovering the 58km of pistes, including a long, challenging run through the trees to the traditional Les Rousses mountain restaurant.
Modern lifts, including a high-speed, gondola from the village, as well as the well-maintained and carefully patrolled pistes ensure that skiing in Anzère is always a pleasure.
Anzère’s location was chosen on the basis of its meteorological records and despite its modest altitude enjoys an excellent snow record.
The village centre is free from cars and offers impressive facilities, including an ice rink, night skiing and indoor swimming pool and spa.
