Responsibilities of the operations assistant are varied. The operations assistant reports directly to the operations manager and this rewarding role ensures the efficient operation of all aspects of the hotel. The role combines administration (planning, staff rota, finance, inventories, etc.) with hands-on oversight of the operation of the hotel (food preparation, food service, housekeeping, etc.).
The operations assistant works closely with our programme managers. With considerable client and staff contact, the operations assistant is expected to maintain a very high standard of appearance and must be professional, patient and flexible at all times.
Due to Swiss work permit restrictions we are only able to consider applications from nationals of Switzerland, the European Union (EU) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) for this position.
In the winter, a ski pass (“Magic Pass”) can be provided at a reduced cost (449 Swiss francs) to support staff, if requested. The cost is deducted from the first month’s net salary, but is refunded at the end of the employment period, if the employment is completed satisfactorily and in full.
Net weekly salary is offered only as a guideline to indicate the approximate net salary after tax (for an unmarried person with no dependent children) and other deductions have been made and is subject to change. All salaries are paid at the end of each calendar month in Swiss francs (CHF).
